LASTING POWER of ATTORNEY (LPA)

Have Someone To Rely On

What is a Lasting Power of Attorney

If you are unable to manage your own affairs, a Lasting Power of Attorney appoints someone of your choice to do it for you.

There are two types of LPA

Property and Financial Affairs LPA

A Property and Financial Affairs LPA this gives your Attorney the authority to deal with buying and selling your property, paying your bills, dealing with your bank accounts and investments.

Health and Welfare LPA

A Health and Welfare LPA covers decisions about health and care and even deciding where someone is to live. This can only be used if someone is incapable of dealing with such matters themselves.
